Job Overview

The Chief Human Resources Officer or Head of HR will lead the people strategy and align HR practices with business objectives across multiple regions.

The role is part of the executive leadership team and combines strategic vision with hands-on operational leadership across organizational development, talent lifecycle, and compliance.

Strategic Leadership and Governance

  • Design, implement, and update HR strategies and policies aligned with global best practices and business goals across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
  • Advise senior leadership and the Board on manpower planning, restructuring, culture, change management, and succession planning.
  • Develop HR metrics, analytics, and insights to support executive decision-making and measure HR effectiveness.
  • Oversee and manage the global HR budget and resource allocation.

Talent Lifecycle and Management

  • Lead workforce planning, high-impact recruitment, and onboarding strategies to attract global talent.
  • Champion talent management, leadership development, succession planning, and continuous training initiatives.
  • Oversee performance management frameworks, KPI and OKR systems, appraisals, and performance improvement plans.

Employee Relations and Culture

  • Drive employee engagement and retention strategies to cultivate a positive, respectful, and inclusive work environment.
  • Act as the escalation point for complex employee relations cases, conflict resolution, and disciplinary matters.
  • Mentor a diverse, multicultural HR team and foster equity and collaboration.

Compliance and Total Rewards

  • Ensure compliance with UAE labor laws and corporate regulations while monitoring legal frameworks across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia.
  • Design and manage competitive compensation, benefits, and total rewards structures.

Education and Certifications

  • A bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a closely related field is required.
  • A master’s degree, MBA, MSc, or premium HR certification such as SHRM-SCP, SPHRi, or CIPD Level 7 is preferred.

Experience and Knowledge

  • Requires 8–12 years of progressive HR experience and senior leadership experience in complex, multi-country, or multi-entity organizations.
  • Requires deep knowledge of UAE labor laws and experience in organizational development, employee relations, total rewards, and performance evaluation frameworks.
  • Regional HR practices across the Middle East, Africa, and Asia are highly desirable.

Skills and Attributes

  • Requires strategic thinking, analytical and problem-solving ability, leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Immediate joiners based in the UAE are highly preferred.

Work Location and Compensation

  • Work location is in person.
  • Pay is stated as AED 10,000–AED 35,000 per month.
