PILLAR GLOBAL TRADING QFZ LLC is an international commodity trading and export company incorporated within the Qatar Free Zones Authority (QFZA).
The company purchases bulk construction materials and industrial commodities directly from factories to supply international markets via maritime vessels.

The CFO & Head of Trade Finance will take 100% ownership of the company's financial strategy, risk mitigation frameworks, banking relations, and international trade finance operations.

Structure, review, and issue complex trade finance instruments including Irrevocable LCs, Back to Back LCs, and Transferable LCs.
Manage the end to end documentary cycle to ensure zero discrepancies before bank presentations.
Supervise and secure demand guarantees, Performance Bonds, and Standby LCs related to shipping and procurement contracts.
Apply deep operational knowledge of ICC rules (UCP 600 and ISBP 745) to defend the company's financial interests.

Conduct rigorous financial health and credit risk assessments on international buyers and sourcing factories.
Formulate, implement, and monitor robust hedging strategies to protect against FX volatility and commodity price fluctuations.
Establish internal control mechanisms to prevent financial leaks, commercial fraud, and operational errors.
Ensure strict corporate compliance with Qatari financial laws, QFZA regulations, AML standards, and global sanctions frameworks.

Negotiate, secure, and expand transactional credit lines, Trade Finance facilities, and working capital limits with banks.
Identify and secure alternative financing solutions optimized for bulk maritime trading.
Manage day to day operations with banking partners and international B2B payment fintech platforms.

Build, maintain, and analyze rolling cash flow forecasts to balance factory advance payments with customer collections.
Coordinate daily with the International Trading, Sales & Logistics Manager to align shipping schedules with LC validity windows.
Manage corporate financial accounts, financial reporting, profit allocation, and tax/regulatory filing preparation.

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Corporate Finance, International Trade, Banking, Accounting, or related quantitative field.
Professional certifications such as CDCS, CSDG, or CITF highly preferred.
Minimum 7 to 10 years of executive or senior level financial role experience.
Proven operational track record in trade finance/treasury of an international commodity trading company or as a Senior Trade Finance Manager/Officer in a corporate bank.
Extensive experience in managing Back to Back and Transferable LC setups.
In depth understanding of Incoterms 2020, UCP 600, international maritime documentation, and trade finance legalities.
Native level or completely fluent professional English required; fluency in Arabic and French is a valuable asset.

A critical executive leadership position within a newly established international corporate structure in Qatar.
