Role Overview
Provide CFO-level financial expertise for software products covering crypto, investment management, trading, staking, treasury, and digital assets.
Define, design, and validate financial systems, products, business logic, workflows, controls, calculations, and domain accuracy.
Translate complex financial concepts into scalable, institution-grade software systems.
Core Responsibilities
- Structure financial processes into system requirements, workflows, rules, calculations, data models, and operational controls.
- Work with Product Managers, Software Architects, Engineers, Data teams, UX teams, and business stakeholders.
- Act as the financial authority within a software product organization.
Key Expertise Areas
- Crypto and digital assets, including blockchain, custody, and wallet infrastructure.
- Trading, derivatives, OTC, investment and portfolio management.
- ETFs, ETPs, fund accounting, staking, DeFi, and yield products.
- Treasury, liquidity, accounting, ledger, and reconciliation.
- Risk, margin, collateral, valuation, NAV, P&L, and financial calculations.
Required Experience
- At least 10 years of experience across financial markets, investment management, asset management, trading, treasury, fintech, banking, digital assets, or related sectors.
- Senior-level experience as a CFO, CIO, Finance Director, Head of Investments, Head of Treasury, Head of Trading, Financial Product Director, or equivalent.
- Strong hands-on knowledge of financial systems and institutional financial workflows.
- Significant experience with crypto or digital assets.
- Strong knowledge of investment products, portfolio management, and trading operations.
- Experience with financial reporting, valuation, reconciliation, accounting, or fund operations.
- Ability to translate financial processes into software requirements.
- Ability to collaborate with Product Managers, Engineers, Architects, and Data teams.
