Role Description
This is a part-time Chief Financial Officer role based in Abu Dhabi Emirate with a hybrid arrangement and flexibility for some work from home.
The CFO oversees financial planning and analysis, cash-flow management, budgeting, reporting, compliance, and strategic financial decision-making.
Responsibilities
- Oversee financial planning and analysis, cash-flow management, and budgeting.
- Review financial statements, ensure accurate financial reporting, and monitor key performance indicators.
- Maintain compliance with applicable financial regulations.
- Collaborate with executive leadership on financial strategy, investment decisions, and risk management.
- Implement processes, controls, and tools that support sustainable growth.
- Guide forecasting, cost optimization, and resource allocation for regional and global initiatives.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in corporate financial management and strategic financial leadership.
- Proficiency in financial planning and budgeting, including forecasting, cash-flow modeling, and long-range financial strategy.
- Hands-on experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting financial statements and financial reporting.
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to translate complex data into actionable recommendations.
- Experience in technology or consulting industries is ideal, particularly with multi-location or international operations.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, compliance requirements, financial controls, and modern financial software.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills for executive and technical collaboration.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field is required.
- CPA, CMA, or CFA certification is advantageous.
