Role Description

Core Responsibilities

• Oversee the studio’s financial health and strategic financial direction.
• Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow.
• Maintain accurate financial statements and records.
• Review financial performance and prepare and analyze financial reports.
• Advise leadership on financial risks and opportunities.
• Support pricing and investment decisions.
• Align financial strategies with business goals in collaboration with the executive team.
• Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in finance and ability to guide financial strategy and decision-making.
• Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow management.
• Experience preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports.
• Advanced analytical skills for interpreting data and assessing performance.
• Experience in a creative, media, or content-focused business environment is advantageous.
• Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and financial regulations.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex financial information clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as CPA or CMA are a plus.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting, manage priorities, and maintain high ethical standards.
