Role Description
Provide strategic financial leadership for Yak Brewing Company.
Oversee budgeting, forecasting, long-term financial planning, financial reporting, and financial statement review.
Analyze financial performance, identify risks and opportunities, and recommend actions supporting sustainable growth and profitability.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior leadership on investment decisions, capital structure, cash flow management, and cost optimization.
- Enhance financial controls and refine finance policies and procedures.
- Contribute to strategic initiatives aligned with the company’s focus on quality, sustainability, and innovation.
Qualifications
- Strong finance foundation with corporate or brewery-related financial management experience.
- Proficiency in financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and long-term strategic financial modeling.
- Hands-on financial statement and financial reporting experience.
- Advanced analytical skills and the ability to provide clear recommendations.
- Experience working in a part-time remote executive capacity across time zones and cultures.
- Experience with cash flow management, cost control, and capital investment analysis.
- Knowledge of accounting standards, tax regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Previous experience as a CFO, finance director, or senior finance leader.
Preferred Qualifications
- Brewery, FMCG, or manufacturing experience is an advantage.
- A professional qualification such as CPA, CA, CFA, or an MBA in Finance is preferred.
