About the Role
The employer is seeking an experienced, strategic, and commercially focused Chief Financial Officer.
The CFO will lead the finance function and provide strategic financial leadership across the organization.
The role covers financial strategy, planning, reporting, budgeting, risk management, cash flow, and financial governance.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the company's overall financial strategy.
- Lead financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management.
- Oversee accounting, financial reporting, treasury, taxation, and cash-flow management.
- Advise the CEO and executive leadership team on strategic financial matters.
- Monitor financial performance, profitability, and key financial KPIs.
- Establish financial controls, policies, and governance frameworks.
- Manage financial, operational, and business risks.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting.
- Manage relationships with banks, auditors, investors, financial institutions, and external advisors.
- Evaluate investments, acquisitions, expansion opportunities, and major business initiatives.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team.
- Ensure compliance with applicable UAE financial, tax, accounting, and regulatory requirements.
What We Are Looking For
- Extensive experience in senior finance, accounting, or corporate leadership.
- Strong strategic thinking and commercial business acumen.
- Knowledge of financial management, accounting, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Understanding of financial controls, corporate governance, and risk management.
- Experience managing complex financial operations and large budgets.
- Leadership, communication, negotiation, and decision-making skills.
- Integrity, confidentiality, and professional judgment.
- Ability to work with executives, investors, banks, auditors, and external stakeholders.
- UAE financial and business environment knowledge is highly desirable.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- CPA, ACCA, CA, CFA, or equivalent professional qualification is highly desirable.
- Extensive experience in financial management or corporate finance.
- Previous CFO, Finance Director, Financial Controller, or similar senior leadership experience is preferred.
- Experience leading finance teams and managing complex financial operations.
- Knowledge of ERP, financial-management, and business-intelligence systems.
- International business operations experience is advantageous.
