Role overview
Lead hotel engineering and maintenance operations while supporting memorable guest experiences.
Oversee the physical building, mechanical, electrical, HVAC, and life safety systems.
Core responsibilities
- Recruit, train, supervise, mentor, and evaluate team members.
- Prioritize maintenance activities and verify completion through the property maintenance management system.
- Resolve service requests, guest concerns, and emergencies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate inspections and uphold national and local safety and compliance standards.
- Support capital projects and property rehabilitations, including scheduling, budgeting, bidding, and permitting.
- Develop energy conservation programs to reduce utility costs.
- Monitor KPIs covering equipment upkeep, audit results, and team productivity.
- Support evacuation procedures, duty manager coverage, and other hotel safety protocols.
