Responsibilities
- Develop and implement financial strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure effective financial management
- Monitor and analyze financial performance, prepare financial statements, and provide financial reports to senior management
- Oversee day to day accounting operations including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and expense management
- Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost control and revenue enhancement
- Prepare and present financial reports, statements, and analysis to senior management, board of directors, and external stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, regulations, and tax laws
- Establish and maintain internal control systems to safeguard company assets and ensure integrity of financial data
- Conduct regular audits and reviews to identify and mitigate financial risks
- Manage and develop the accounting team, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations
- Conduct financial analysis including profitability analysis, cash flow analysis, and financial modeling
- Coordinate with auditors, tax authorities, banks, and other external parties as required
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CPA or equivalent certification preferred
- Proven experience in a senior accounting or finance role, preferably in a supervisory capacity
- 7 years of experience at same level
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and compliance requirements
- Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems
- Fluency in Arabic and English
- Ability to commute/relocate to Riyadh
