Role Overview
T.H.E LOGISTICS is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Chief Accountant to join its team in the UAE.
The position requires at least 5 years of relevant accounting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and MIS.
- Handle VAT, corporate tax, and regulatory compliance.
- Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Perform bank reconciliation and cash-flow management.
- Coordinate with auditors, banks, and suppliers.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and financial controls.
- Ensure accurate and timely month-end and year-end closing.
Candidate Profile
- Strong knowledge of UAE accounting and taxation.
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and accounting software.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and leadership abilities.
- ACCA, CA, or CMA qualification is an advantage.
- UAE experience is preferred.
- Account management experience of 4 years is preferred.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 12,000 to AED 13,000 per month.
Workplace
- The work location is in person in the UAE.
