Chief Accountant

Role Description

Responsibilities

• Manage general ledger entries and prepare financial statements.
• Ensure accurate recording of revenues and expenses.
• Monitor cash flow and manage accounts payable and receivable.
• Reconcile bank and credit card accounts.
• Oversee budgeting and forecasting activities.
• Support audits and develop internal controls.
• Provide financial analysis and recommend process improvements.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and financial reporting skills are required.
• Proficiency with accounting software and spreadsheets is required.
• Knowledge of budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management, accounting standards, and UAE regulations is required.
• Analytical, problem-solving, organizational, communication, and collaboration skills are required.
• A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field is required.
• CPA, ACCA, or CMA certification is an advantage.
• Previous senior accounting or finance experience is required.
• Small to medium-sized or creative/e-commerce business experience is preferred.
