About the Role
Me Visual Wll is seeking a Chief Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle, supervise accounts payable and receivable, prepare financial statements, and ensure compliance with IFRS and local regulations in Doha.

Responsibilities
- Manage the full accounting cycle, including the general ledger and month end/year end closing
- Supervise the accounts payable function to ensure timely and accurate processing of supplier invoices and payments
- Manage the accounts receivable function, including customer invoicing, receipts, collections, and customer account reconciliations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Prepare and process payroll through the Qatar WPS system, ensuring compliance with applicable regulations
- Maintain the Fixed Asset Register, including asset capitalization, depreciation, disposals, and periodic verification
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow and liquidity
- Prepare cash flow forecasts, budgets, and financial reports for management
- Liaise with external auditors, banks, and government authorities on financial matters
- Ensure compliance with IFRS, local regulations, tax requirements, company policies, and internal controls
- Supervise, mentor, and support the accounting team while driving continuous process improvements
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Professional qualification (ACCA, CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- Minimum 5–7 years of accounting experience, including 2 years in a supervisory or Chief Accountant role
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, financial reporting, budgeting, cash flow management, and internal controls
- Proficiency in Tally ERP and Microsoft Office
- Hands on experience with Qatar WPS payroll processing, fixed asset management, bank reconciliations, accounts receivable, and audit coordination
- Strong analytical, organizational, leadership, and communication skills
- Knowledge of Qatar financial regulations and taxation requirements is preferred
