About the Role
Vibrant Group Trading & Contracting seeks an experienced Chief Accountant to manage day-to-day accounting operations, prepare financial statements, and oversee accounts payable/receivable, payroll, and general ledger.

Responsibilities
- Manage day to day accounting operations
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Prepare and finalize annual accounts and coordinate with external auditors
- Ensure accurate recording of all financial transactions in accordance with applicable accounting standards
- Oversee accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, and general ledger activities
- Perform month end and year end closing procedures
- Reconcile bank accounts, supplier accounts, customer accounts, and balance sheet accounts
- Prepare cash flow forecasts and monitor the company's financial position
- Monitor project costs, budgets, and profitability for construction and fit out projects
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, VAT requirements, and company financial policies
- Develop and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets
- Assist management with budgeting, financial planning, and cost control
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- 10 15 years of accounting experience, preferably in construction, interior fit out, or contracting industry
- Proven experience preparing and finalizing annual financial statements
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, budgeting, cost accounting, and cash flow management
- Experience with ERP/accounting software and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills
- Professional accounting qualification (CPA, ACCA, CMA, CA, or equivalent) is an advantage
- GCC experience is preferred
