Key Responsibilities
- Maintain daily bookkeeping and general ledger entries.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Perform bank, supplier, and account reconciliations.
- Manage accounts payable and receivable, including tracking and follow-ups.
- Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations.
- Maintain documentation and audit trails for financial records.
- Handle ESR, UBO, and license renewal filings.
- Liaise with auditors, tax consultants, corporate service providers, banks, and suppliers.
- Assist with budgeting, cost tracking, and financial forecasting.
- Improve accounting workflows and controls.
- Supervise cashier teams and reconcile cash handling and deposits.
- Prepare daily cash summary reports and reconcile them with accounting records.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in accounting and finance or a related field.
- 3–5 years of accounting experience specifically in the UAE.
- Knowledge of UAE VAT, Corporate Tax laws, and corporate compliance regulations.
- Hands-on experience with accounting software, including Xero, Zoho Books, QuickBooks, Telly, or ERP systems.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, including Excel pivot tables, formulas, and analysis.
- Detail orientation with strong organizational and communication skills.
- Experience handling import and export LC documentation under international trade and banking standards.
- Ability to supervise cashier operations and treasury functions.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Mainland and Freezone filings such as JAFZA, AFZ, or Meydan FZ.
- Familiarity with multi-currency accounting.
Availability
- Able to join immediately or on short notice.
Compensation
- Pay is AED 5,000 to AED 10,000 per month.
- Salary may be discussed during the interview.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
