- Perform routine test article/product preparation according to work instructions
- Execute routine testing per NAMSA SOPs with appropriate data analysis
- Prepare and maintain reagents and/or test articles as required for testing
- Maintain ancillary records (logbooks, worksheets)
- Maintain relevant supplies and equipment used in routine testing
- Route all excursions or unusual testing occurrences to management

- Knowledge of metric system, scientific applications, experimental design, and data evaluation

Job Description
- NAMSA is the first independent company focused solely on medical device materials safety.
- We are seeking a Chemistry Technologist to perform routine testing and test article preparation.
Responsibilities
- May perform routine test article/product preparation according to work instructions.
- May execute routine testing per NAMSA SOPs with appropriate data analysis.
- May communicate test schedule updates to management.
- May provide on the job training.
- Assure testing/test article preparation is performed within due dates.
- May prepare and maintain reagents and/or test articles.
- Maintain ancillary records (logbooks, worksheets).
- Maintain relevant supplies and equipment.
- Route all excursions or unusual testing occurrences to management.
- May order and/or stock supplies.
- May be responsible for checking laboratory equipment and responding to alarms.
- Performs routine calculations, interprets results.
Qualifications & Technical Competencies
- High School Diploma or equivalent and at least 4 years of experience, or Bachelor degree and no experience.
- Sound judgment with effective decision making skills.
- Knowledge of metric system, scientific applications, experimental design, and data evaluation.
- Ability to work in GMP/GLP environment.
Compensation
- Target pay range: $23.00/hr $25.00/hr.
Working Conditions
- Requires walking, standing, or sitting for prolonged periods.
- Regularly required to talk or hear; frequently stand, walk, sit, use hands, reach.
- Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Close vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus required.
- Extensive use of computer keyboard.
