- We are currently seeking dedicated, certified Chemistry Teachers to join our classrooms.
Compensation And Benefits
- NYC Public Schools offers competitive starting salaries based on education and years of teaching experience.
- Starting salary for a teacher with a master’s degree and no prior teaching experience is currently $77,455, or $68,902 for a teacher with a bachelor's degree and no previous teaching experience.
- On September 14, 2026, these salaries will increase to $80,166 and $71,314, respectively.
