Key Responsibilities and Duties
- Teach and support students in various levels of Chemistry and Biology, delivering clear and effective instruction aligned with curriculum requirements.
- Assist school going students in strengthening their understanding of core concepts and excelling in their subject studies.
- Guide students through comprehensive exam preparation, helping them master test taking strategies and curriculum specific content for school exams and standardized tests, including those for the IB, IGCSE, and the American and British curricula.
- Work with students of different ages and academic abilities, providing one on one and small group instruction.
- Regularly assess student performance, track academic progress, and provide timely feedback to students and their parents.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- A minimum of 2 years of tutoring or teaching experience.
- Thorough knowledge of school programs, syllabi, and examination systems relevant to Dubai schools is essential, with specific expertise in IB, IGCSE, and American and British curricula.
- A valid KHDA Educator Permit is a mandatory requirement for this position. Candidates without a valid permit must be eligible and willing to obtain one.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills, with the ability to explain complex scientific concepts clearly and effectively. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Available to teach during flexible hours, including afternoons, evenings, and weekends.
- Fluent or native like English.
Pay
- AED60.00 AED120.00 per hour
