Candidate profile
- One qualification path is a high school diploma or GED with 4 years of relevant culinary, food and beverage, or related professional experience.
- An alternative path is a 2-year degree in Culinary Arts, Hotel and Restaurant Management, or a related major with 2 years of relevant experience.
- The role requires leadership of pastry staff and knowledge of food handling, sanitation, storage, temperature, and regulatory standards.
Pastry culinary leadership
- Supervise and manage employees, lead shifts, and coordinate cooks and food-preparation workers.
- Personally prepare food items and execute requests according to required specifications.
- Develop new culinary ideas, products, systems, and artistic food presentations.
