About the role
Chef Manager position at Calvary Lower Plenty in Victoria.
The role supports residents in an aged care setting with 90 beds.
The position is full time and ongoing.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day operations of a busy aged care kitchen Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.
- Cook meals to a set menu.
- Apply IDDSI and allergen awareness requirements.
- Attend resident and relative meetings.
- Track budgets and order food using computerised systems.
- Lead and support the catering staff team.
About you
- Cert IV in cooking is required.
- Aged care experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of computers and the Leecare system is desirable.
- Strong positive leadership capability is expected.
