Position Summary

Food Preparation and Quality

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, and cold foods.
• Regulate ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters and thaw frozen food in the refrigerator.
• Ensure proper portions, arrangement, garnishing, and presentation.
• Maintain food logs and monitor the quality and quantity of prepared food.
• Inform the Chef about excess food for daily specials and service staff about menu specials and unavailable items.

Team and Operations Support

• Communicate assistance needs during busy periods.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluation, counseling, discipline, motivation, and coaching of employees.
• Follow company, food, safety, and security policies and report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
• Address guest service needs and support positive working relationships.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical, trade, or vocational school degree preferred.
• At least 3 years of related work experience preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.
• No license or certification is required.

Workplace and Physical Requirements

• The role is based at the Dubai property and is not remote.
• The work includes extended standing, sitting, or walking, as well as reaching, bending, twisting, pulling, and stooping.
• The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.
