Role overview

Workplace and schedule

• The position is based at Sheikh Zayed Road, Business Bay, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
• The schedule is full time and the role is not remote.

Culinary responsibilities

• Prepare special meals, substitute items, cold foods, and other menu items according to recipes and preparation checklists.
• Regulate ovens, broilers, grills, and roasters and thaw frozen food safely in refrigeration.
• Ensure correct food portions, arrangement, garnish, quality, presentation, and quantity.
• Maintain food logs and communicate assistance needs during busy periods.

Service coordination

• Inform the Chef about excess food for use in daily specials.
• Inform food-and-beverage service staff about menu specials and out-of-stock menu items.
• Work collaboratively with the kitchen and service teams to support operations.
• Follow hotel, safety, security, grooming, confidentiality, and operational procedures.

General duties

• Report maintenance needs, accidents, injuries, unsafe conditions, and equipment concerns to management.
• Maintain professional communication, appearance, and working relationships.
• Perform other reasonable duties requested by supervisors.
• The role involves extended periods of standing, sitting, or walking and frequent bending, twisting, reaching, pulling, and stooping.
• The role requires moving, lifting, carrying, pushing, and pulling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance.

Preferred qualifications

• At least 3 years of related work experience is preferred.
• A technical, trade, or vocational school degree is preferred.
• No supervisory experience is required.
