Role Description

  • The Chef De Partie is a full time, on site role based in Dubai
  • Responsible for managing a specific section of the kitchen and ensuring dishes are prepared to the restaurant’s standards
  • Day to day tasks include preparing ingredients, cooking and plating menu items, overseeing commis chefs, and maintaining high standards of food quality and presentation
  • The role involves monitoring stock levels, assisting with ordering and inventory, and ensuring proper storage and rotation of ingredients
  • The Chef De Partie will also uphold hygiene, safety, and cleanliness standards, support menu development, and work closely with the Head Chef and Sous Chefs to deliver a smooth service during busy shifts

Qualifications

  • Strong culinary skills in food preparation, cooking techniques, and plating, with experience managing a designated kitchen section
  • Demonstrated ability to follow recipes and kitchen procedures while maintaining consistency and quality under pressure
  • Knowledge of food safety, hygiene regulations, and best practices for cleanliness and workstation organization
  • Experience training, guiding, and coordinating junior kitchen staff in a fast paced environment
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate with the broader kitchen and service teams
  • Prior experience as a Chef De Partie or Demi Chef De Partie in a professional restaurant or hotel kitchen
  • Relevant culinary qualification or formal training from a recognized institution is preferred
  • Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays, and ability to stand for extended periods
  • Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, solutions focused approach to kitchen operations
