Chef - Commis 3

FASSCO is looking to hire hard-working and efficient Commis 3 - Chefs to prepare meals and assist with various kitchen duties.

• Prepare ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, slicing, and measuring items before service
• Assist senior chefs with cooking tasks and plating.
• Keep the workstation, equipment, and storage areas clean, sanitized, and compliant with health and safety standards.
• Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
• Taking inventory of kitchen supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
• Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
• Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that workstations are properly sanitized.
• Plating and presenting meal items as per the instructions.
