About the role

  • We're opening a premium Korean bakery and seeking a Head Chef with proven expertise in Korean breads and pastries (milk bread, soboro, sweet cream buns, red bean buns, castella, croissant variants, flaky pies, seasonal items).
  • You'll build recipes, set standards, hire/train the team, and run production to world class quality.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and standardize authentic Korean bakery recipes.
  • Daily production planning; quality, hygiene, and food safety control (HACCP).
  • Build and train a high performing team; schedule, coaching, performance.
  • Source ingredients and equipment; cost control and yield optimization.

Requirements

  • 5 years in artisan/Korean bakery with team leadership.
  • Mastery of enriched doughs, lamination, proofing, and finishing.
  • Strong organization, cost control, and training skills.
  • English required; Korean a plus.
  • Ready to relocate to Qatar (visa provided).
