YOU’LL MAKE CONTRIBUTIONS THAT MATTER BY…
Operating cheese packing equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and production instruction
Showing attention to detail and monitoring the process
Communicating clearly and supporting with problem solving in the event of a breakdown
Maintaining cheese quality by manually handling 20kg cheese blocks and manually boxing up to 10 tonnes an hour in the event of automated machinery being unavailable
Keeping accurate records and taking the necessary corrective action to maintain cheese line efficiencies and packaging quality
Understanding the need for, and carrying out, hygiene and housekeeping requirements within the cheese department in accordance with relevant schedules and food safety requirements
Identifying and communicating opportunities to improve working methods
YOU’RE BEST SUITED FOR THE ROLE IF YOU ARE…
Someone who has deep and demonstratable experience working within a food production environment
Knowledgeable with basic IT skills with the ability to use a PC/HMI/SCADA
Able to demonstrate thinking on your feet with problem solving skill
A strong communicator and able to work as part of a team and independently
Aware of basic food hygiene requirements
