The role is part of a client-focused team delivering facilities management engineering and assurance services.
Key Responsibilities
- Review construction drawings, design calculations, material submittals, requests for information, and other detailed-design documents.
- Ensure facilities management activities comply with applicable specifications, standards, codes of practice, and quality procedures.
- Support client senior management with engineering decisions while protecting cost, quality, and contractual requirements.
- Monitor detailed-design progress and contractor programming, resourcing, proposals, drawings, calculations, and shop drawings.
- Report risks and opportunities, prepare monitoring and surveillance reports, and issue technical queries, observations, and non-conformance reports.
- Maintain client relationships, review contractor-generated data, and lead by example on health and safety.
Essential Requirements
- Chartered Engineer status and a Mechanical Engineering degree are required.
- At least 8 years of facilities management experience in a consultancy or end-user client environment is required.
- Strong technical delivery experience, ideally in KSA, is required.
- Candidates must be able to manage complex projects and identify opportunities to secure additional business.
- Excellent communication, presentation, customer service, client-interface, teamwork, organisation, and deadline-management skills are required.
