Location: Business Bay, Dubai

AED 11,000 – 13,000 **(Based on experience)**

Position: Chartered Accountant - Senior Role

An Accounting /Taxation Advisory firm is looking for an experienced **Chartered Accountant** to lead its **tax advisory, accounting and compliance function**.

This is a hands-on, client-facing role requiring deep expertise in **UAE VAT and Corporate Tax**, strong regulatory knowledge, and the ability to manage and guide a small accounting and tax team.

The role plays a critical part in ensuring client compliance, managing FTA interactions, and delivering high-quality tax advisory services across multiple sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage **UAE taxation services**, including VAT and Corporate Tax compliance, for a diverse client portfolio
  • Ensure accurate and timely **VAT return filings, Corporate Tax filings, registrations, de-registrations, and amendments**
  • Provide **tax advisory support** to clients on VAT structuring, Corporate Tax implications, and compliance planning
  • Review and finalize **tax computations, reconciliations, and supporting documentation**
  • Handle **FTA correspondence**, including audits, assessments, reconsiderations, penalties, and clarifications
  • Oversee preparation and review of **financial statements** to ensure tax alignment and compliance
  • Monitor changes in UAE tax laws and advise clients and management on regulatory updates and impact
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of **2–5 accountants / tax executives**, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
  • Establish and improve **tax processes, controls, and internal review mechanisms**
  • Act as a trusted tax advisor to clients, maintaining strong professional relationships

Requirements

  • **Qualified Chartered Accountant** (mandatory)
  • **3-5 years of UAE experience** in Tax & Accounting Firm is mandatory
  • In-depth, practical knowledge of **UAE tax legislation, FTA procedures, and compliance frameworks**
  • Proven experience handling **FTA audits, assessments, and client tax disputes**

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: AED11,000.00 - AED13,000.00 per month
