About the Role

Responsibilities
- Oversee and control the accounting and finance operations of all three company branches
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Company's Chart of Accounts (COA)
- Ensure proper accounting policies and procedures are established and followed in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and all other statutory and regulatory requirements
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and cost control activities
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and general ledger functions
- Perform month end and year end closing activities and ensure timely financial reporting
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve the Company's internal control framework
- Plan and conduct periodic internal audits across all branches
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team
Requirements
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory
- Minimum 2 years of accounting and finance experience within the UAE
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership position
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, COSO, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, financial reporting standards, and UAE compliance requirements
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing, internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills

Job Overview
- The accountant will be responsible for handling the Company's complete accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, taxation, compliance, and internal control functions across all three branches.
- The role requires strong leadership capabilities, sound accounting and auditing expertise, and a thorough understanding of UAE financial regulations, taxation, and corporate governance.
Key Responsibilities Accounting & Finance
- Oversee and control the accounting and finance operations of all three company branches.
- Develop, implement, and maintain the Company's Chart of Accounts (COA) to ensure accurate financial reporting and consistency across all branches.
- Ensure proper accounting policies and procedures are established and followed in accordance with IFRS and UAE regulations.
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and management reports.
- Ensure compliance with UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, and all other statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Manage cash flow, budgeting, financial planning, forecasting, and cost control activities.
- Supervise accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, fixed assets, inventory accounting, and general ledger functions.
- Perform month end and year end closing activities and ensure timely financial reporting.
- Monitor branch wise profitability, expenses, and operational performance.
- Coordinate with external auditors, banks, tax consultants, and government authorities.
- Support management in financial planning, business expansion, and investment decisions.
- Prepare financial projections, feasibility studies, and budget variance analysis.
Key Responsibilities Internal Audit & Internal Control
- Establish, implement, and continuously improve the Company's internal control framework.
- Develop internal financial policies, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and approval matrices.
- Plan and conduct periodic internal audits across all branches to ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of accounting systems and internal controls and recommend improvements.
- Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks and recommend corrective actions.
- Review revenue, expenses, procurement, inventory, payroll, and cash management processes to prevent fraud, errors, and financial leakage.
- Monitor compliance with delegated authorities and approval limits.
- Verify the accuracy of accounting records, supporting documents, and financial transactions.
- Ensure proper segregation of duties and authorization controls within finance operations.
- Follow up on audit observations and ensure timely implementation of corrective actions.
- Prepare internal audit reports with findings, recommendations, and action plans for senior management.
- Assist management in strengthening corporate governance and risk management practices.
Key Responsibilities Leadership & Management
- Lead, mentor, and manage the accounting team to ensure accuracy, efficiency, and professional development.
- Monitor staff performance, provide coaching, and implement best accounting practices.
- Coordinate with department heads to improve financial performance and operational efficiency.
- Support senior management with financial analysis, strategic planning, and decision making.
Qualifications & Experience
- Chartered Accountant (CA) qualification is mandatory.
- Minimum 2 years of accounting and finance experience within the UAE.
- Proven experience in a managerial or leadership position.
- Experience in the transport, logistics, construction, or building materials sector will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS, COSO, UAE VAT, Corporate Tax, financial reporting standards, and UAE compliance requirements.
- Strong knowledge of internal auditing, internal controls, risk management, and corporate governance.
- Proficiency in accounting software, ERP systems, and advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
Compensation & Benefits
