About the Role
City Doctor Healthcare is seeking a Chartered Accountant to manage financial operations, MIS reporting, VAT and corporate tax compliance, and inventory oversight. Responsibilities
- Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and timely reporting
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Power BI
- Handle month end and year end closings, including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit preparations
- Maintain strong internal controls and contribute to automation of financial processes
- Prepare, review, and file periodic VAT returns in compliance with FTA regulations
- Manage end to end corporate tax compliance, including computation of taxable income
- Monitor and manage inventory accounting and stock movement
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
- CA Qualified — Mandatory
- Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within healthcare or service sector
- Strong hands on experience in UAE VAT filing and UAE Corporate Tax compliance and reporting
- Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations, corporate taxation, and inventory accounting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality

Role Summary
- The Chartered Accountant will play a key role in managing financial operations, MIS reporting, inventory oversight, tax compliance, and analytics using tools like Power BI.
Financial Operations & Reporting
- Oversee daily financial operations, ensuring accurate bookkeeping and timely reporting
- Prepare and analyze MIS reports, dashboards, and performance metrics using Power BI
- Handle month end and year end closings, including journal entries, reconciliations, and audit preparations
- Maintain strong internal controls and contribute to the automation of financial processes
VAT Compliance & Filing
- Prepare, review, and file periodic VAT returns in full compliance with FTA regulations and deadlines
- Reconcile VAT output and input accounts, ensuring accuracy between accounting records and filed returns
- Review sales and purchase invoices for correct VAT treatment relevant to the healthcare sector
- Maintain proper documentation and audit trails to support VAT filings and respond to FTA queries or audits
- Monitor changes in UAE VAT legislation and update internal processes and systems accordingly
- Conduct periodic VAT reconciliations and health checks to identify and correct discrepancies before filing
Corporate Tax Management & Reporting
- Manage end to end corporate tax compliance, including computation of taxable income as per UAE Corporate Tax Law
- Prepare and maintain corporate tax workings, adjustments, and supporting schedules
- Coordinate with external tax consultants/advisors on tax computations, return filings, and compliance matters
- Ensure timely and accurate filing of corporate tax returns within statutory deadlines set by the FTA
- Maintain transfer pricing documentation and related party transaction records, where applicable
- Track and reconcile deferred tax positions and ensure appropriate tax provisions are reflected in financial statements
- Prepare periodic corporate tax reporting and forecasts for management
- Support tax risk assessments and ensure adequate documentation is maintained for potential FTA audits or inquiries
- Stay updated on evolving UAE Corporate Tax regulations, free zone tax incentives, and their implications for healthcare entities
Inventory & Business Support
- Monitor and manage inventory accounting and stock movement in alignment with finance policies
- Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic decisions
- Collaborate with clinical and operational departments to align financial plans with business activities
- Liaise with external auditors and regulatory bodies when necessary
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- CA Qualified — Mandatory
- Minimum 7–8 years of relevant experience in finance, preferably within healthcare or the service sector
- Strong hands on experience in UAE VAT filing and UAE Corporate Tax compliance and reporting is essential
- Proficiency in Power BI, advanced Excel, and ERP systems
- Strong knowledge of VAT regulations, corporate taxation, and inventory accounting
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- High level of integrity and confidentiality
Pay
- AED 12,000.00 AED 16,000.00 per month
