Chaplain

We're seeking someone with a genuine heart for ministry and a passion for walking alongside people during some of life's most challenging moments.

You'll bring:

Demonstrated experience in Christian ministry and pastoral care, with a strong personal Christian faith and active involvement in a local church.

Relevant qualifications in Theology, Ministry, Pastoral Care or a related field. Completion of at least one unit of Clinical Pastoral Education (CPE) through a recognised provider is desirable.

Experience providing compassionate, person-centred spiritual care, particularly for people living with serious illness.

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build meaningful relationships across diverse cultures, beliefs and faith traditions.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Emotional resilience, self-awareness and the capacity to support people through suffering, death and dying.

Strong professional judgement, including maintaining confidentiality, appropriate boundaries and accurate clinical documentation.

Commitment to ongoing spiritual formation, professional development and reflective practice.

A current Working With Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check, or the ability to obtain and maintain these clearances.

Availability to work 5 days per week on a rotating Monday to Sunday roster (8:00am to 5:00pm).
