Bethesda Aged Care Centre is located in Rockhampton , Central Queensland and a short distance from south-west of the city centre. This single-level residential aged care centre facility is surrounded by gardens, ensuring a peaceful and light-filled environment . Offering all levels of care including short term respite care, it is a lively centre with a strong sense of community, clean fresh rooms and extensive lifestyle programs to cater to a range of individual preferences.

To be successful in this role, you will have :
A strong commitment to the Christian faith and The Salvation Army's mission.
The ability to offer prayer and pastoral care with compassion and sensitivity.
Experience in leading chapel services and conducting funerals / memorial services .
A solid understanding of chaplaincy principles and practices, especially in relation to aged care.
A Diploma of Chaplaincy or a willingness to obtain one within two years , funded by The Salvation Army.
A uniformed Salvationist or a committed Christian who is active in their church and has a heart for serving others.
The ability to wear a recognisable Salvation Army uniform and represent The Salvation Army with integrity.
A current driver’s license and a reliable registered vehicle.
A letter of reference from your minister/pastor or Officer is essential.
