Responsibilities
- Develop and execute channel management strategies aligned with organizational objectives, market expansion goals, and revenue growth targets
- Build, manage, and strengthen relationships with distributors, resellers, value added resellers (VARs), system integrators, strategic partners, and channel alliances
- Identify, recruit, onboard, and enable new channel partners to expand market coverage and increase sales opportunities
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, product, customer success, operations, finance, and executive leadership to develop joint business plans and go to market initiatives
- Develop partner enablement programs, sales training, certification initiatives, marketing campaigns, and sales support resources to improve partner success
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) including channel revenue, partner pipeline, sales growth, partner engagement, market penetration, customer acquisition, retention, and partner satisfaction
- Analyze market trends, competitive activity, channel performance, and customer insights to identify growth opportunities and optimize channel strategies
- Manage channel sales forecasts, budgets, incentive programs, rebates, pricing strategies, and partner performance reviews to maximize profitability and ROI
- Negotiate channel agreements, commercial terms, SLAs, and partnership contracts while ensuring compliance with organizational policies and regulatory requirements
- Utilize CRM systems, PRM platforms, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, and business intelligence tools to manage channel performance and reporting
- Prepare channel performance reports, executive dashboards, sales forecasts, market analyses, and strategic recommendations for senior leadership
- Lead, mentor, and develop channel account managers, partner success specialists, and cross functional teams while fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, innovation, and customer success
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Commerce, Management, or a related field preferred
- Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) or professional certifications in Channel Management, Sales Management, Partner Management, or equivalent are advantageous
- 5+ years of experience in channel management, partner management, business development, sales, account management, or related commercial roles
- 2+ years of experience managing strategic partnerships, channel programs, or indirect sales teams preferred
- Strong understanding of channel sales, partner ecosystems, distribution models, partner enablement, business development, contract negotiation, and go to market strategies
- Experience with CRM platforms, PRM systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Power BI, Tableau, and business intelligence tools
- Familiarity with indirect sales models, digital marketplaces, cloud partner programs, strategic alliances, AI powered sales analytics, and partner incentive frameworks is advantageous
- Strong leadership, commercial, analytical, negotiation, organizational, and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication, stakeholder management, presentation, relationship building, and cross functional collaboration abilities
- Ability to develop high performing channel partnerships while balancing partner success, customer value, revenue growth, and long term business objectives
