The full-time Channel Account Manager develops and manages strategic relationships with channel partners, distributors, resellers, and business partners.
The role is described as mid-level to senior management and focuses on channel sales, partner networks, revenue opportunities, and long-term relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop channel sales strategies aligned with revenue and growth objectives.
- Manage distributors, resellers, dealers, and strategic channel partners.
- Recruit new partners and expand market coverage and sales opportunities.
- Create joint business plans and sales strategies with key partners.
- Drive partner-led revenue and monitor pipelines, targets, and performance.
- Conduct partner meetings and business reviews to identify growth opportunities.
- Provide product knowledge, sales support, training, and marketing resources.
- Coordinate with internal Sales, Marketing, Product, Operations, and Customer Support teams.
- Track market trends, competitors, incentives, promotions, pricing programs, and partner initiatives.
- Prepare reports and forecasts, resolve partner issues, and maintain stakeholder relationships.
Requirements
- Proven experience in channel sales, account management, business development, or partner management.
- Experience with distributors, resellers, dealers, system integrators, or channel partners is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of channel sales strategies, partner programs, and indirect sales models.
- Ability to develop new business and achieve sales targets.
- Strong negotiation, communication, presentation, relationship-building, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple partners, accounts, and sales opportunities simultaneously.
- CRM and sales reporting tool experience is an advantage.
- Willingness to travel for partner meetings, reviews, events, and customer engagements when required.
- A bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, sales, management, or a related field is preferred.
