PRIMARY FUNCTION

ESSENTIAL DUTIES

• Crane Operator
• 1.) Operate cranes and other heavy equipment in an efficient manner while maintaining a high standard of safety.
• 2.) Must be able to safely and properly rig loads for each piece of equipment operated.
• 3.) Perform the upkeep and general maintenance of the equipment.
• 4.) Perform duties with an awareness to avoid overloading, obstruction of crane movement, working with overhead and underground utilities, etc.
• 5.) Perform daily inspection of equipment while maintaining a clean work area. Conduct documented pre-shift and monthly inspections of equipment for safety and mechanical defects.
• 6.) Work long, flexible hours as demanded by our customers including nights, weekends, and work outside for extended periods during all seasons of the year.
• 7.) Understand and follow hand signals or audio instructions from fellow employees.
• 8.) Report any concerns or deficiencies to supervisors.
• 9.) Learn and follow safety regulations.
• 10.) Take actions to avoid potential hazards or obstructions, such as utility lines, other equipment, other workers, or falling objects.
• 11.) Perform necessary work while complying with all company policies and procedures.
• 12.) Perform additional duties as required or directed by their immediate supervisor or other manager.
• 13.) Must have regular and predictable attendance.
