As the Certification Engineer, you will have strong analytical skills, enabling you to review technical documentation, make sound engineering judgements, and support certification decisions.
Organised and detail-oriented, you can manage multiple projects while collaborating effectively with colleagues and clients.
Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent in terms of education, experience, or training.
in testing and/or certification of electrical products.
with switchgear and control gear products and standards (IEC 61439 series).
Ability to make sound engineering judgements based on relevant professional experience.
Ability to scrutinise and compare technical documents.
Good IT literacy skills (Microsoft Office).
As the Certification Engineer you will help coordinate the company’s product certification activities and take an active role in the product certification process for our ASTA certification schemes.
Key activities:
Conducting certification activities (Recommendation and Certification Decision) for all schemes.
Preparation, review and authorisation of test programmes.
Creation and checking of certificates and technical reports.
Assessment of laboratories to ISO 17025 and Intertek Requirements.
Witnessing of testing activities undertaken as part of the ASTA schemes.
