Responsibilities

  • Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Install, maintain, service, and dismantle equipment at customer sites as required;
  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical issues in the field;
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer requests and service calls;
  • Deliver hotshot requests and install equipment when required;
  • Communicate effectively with engineers, rig personnel, supervisors, clients, and other stakeholders;
  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers and operational teams;
  • Diagnose equipment issues and provide guidance to operators on proper maintenance and operation;
  • Complete and maintain accurate service and maintenance records;
  • Follow all NOV policies and procedures, including safety, vehicle use, housekeeping, and documentation requirements;
  • Represent NOV professionally at all times;
  • Assist in shop operations as required by the supervisor;
  • Work a variable schedule, including 24-hour on-call support;
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Up to 3 years of oilfield experience required.
  • Excellent mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.

Technical Requirements

  • H2S
  • Standard First Aid
  • Confined Space
  • Common Safety Orientation
  • Valid Class 5 Drivers License.

HSE Requirements

  • Shop environment orientation (exits, fire extinguishers, first aid & eyewash stations, spill kits, propane storage) and yard environment (building locations, processes)
  • Standing, walking, squatting, bending, reaching, and walking (further details to be reviewed on JHA)
  • Training on proper usage of PPE if exposed to noise, dust and fumes
  • This is a safety sensitive position which will require Pre-Employment drug and alcohol testing as well as a 50-lbs fit to work test
