Responsibilities
- Oversee a designated section of the kitchen, ensuring consistent preparation, cooking, and presentation of Italian dishes according to restaurant standards
- Organize the mise en place and execute menu items accurately
- Maintain quality and portion control
- Support smooth service during busy periods
- Collaborate closely with the Head Chef and kitchen team
- Train and guide junior staff
- Uphold food safety, hygiene, and cleanliness standards
- Assist with stock control and receiving deliveries
- Suggest improvements to menus, workflows, and seasonal offerings
Requirements
- Strong food service and food preparation skills, with proven experience in an Italian kitchen or similar high volume, quality driven environment
- Effective communication and customer service mindset
- Experience supporting hiring, onboarding, and training of junior kitchen team members
- Thorough knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and HACCP standards
- Ability to work under pressure, manage time efficiently, and maintain attention to detail during peak service hours
- Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Culinary diploma or equivalent professional training preferred
- Previous experience as a CDP or Demi CDP in a reputable restaurant or hotel, ideally in Dubai or the wider GCC, highly desirable

Role Description
- This is a full time, on site CDP (Chef de Partie) role for an Italian Restaurant located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
