Role overview
Join La Vue Restaurant's professional kitchen team as a Chef de Partie focused on bakery and pastry production.
Produce consistent, well-presented products while maintaining hygiene and food-safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare bread, viennoiserie, pastries, desserts, and bakery products to established recipes and standards.
- Produce items including croissants, Danish pastries, sourdough, breads, tarts, cakes, cookies, and other pastries.
- Maintain consistency in quality, taste, texture, portion size, and presentation.
- Follow recipes, production schedules, FIFO stock rotation, and standardized procedures.
- Support production according to business requirements and sales forecasts while minimizing waste.
- Check ingredient freshness and maintain the bakery and pastry section.
- Follow HACCP, food safety, hygiene, and Dubai Municipality requirements.
- Operate equipment and monitor proofing, fermentation, baking, cooling, storage, and finishing.
- Coordinate with kitchen leaders, support product development, report issues, and train junior team members when required.
Requirements
- Previous Chef de Partie - Bakery & Pastry or similar experience.
- Two to three or more years of relevant bakery or pastry kitchen experience preferred.
