Job Purpose
Manage the seafood section and prepare high-quality seafood dishes according to recipes, presentation standards, and food-safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook fish, shellfish, and other seafood products.
- Clean, cut, portion, and store seafood properly.
- Maintain freshness, quality, and presentation standards.
- Follow HACCP and food-safety procedures.
- Manage mise en place and ensure timely service.
- Monitor stock, portion control, and waste.
- Maintain cleanliness of the seafood section and equipment.
- Support and guide Commis Chefs during preparation and service.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of professional kitchen experience, preferably in a seafood section.
- Good knowledge of seafood preparation and cooking techniques.
- Knowledge of HACCP and food-safety standards.
- Ability to work under pressure in a busy kitchen.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
Work Location
- Work is performed in person.
