CCTV Supervisor

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise CCTV operators and control-room personnel and ensure continuous surveillance of designated areas.
• Monitor cameras and surveillance systems for suspicious, unsafe, or unauthorized activities.
• Review footage for incidents, investigations, and authorized management requests.
• Prepare monitoring reports, incident reports, shift handover records, and operational logs.
• Coordinate with security personnel, management, emergency services, maintenance, IT, and service providers.
• Check cameras, monitors, recording systems, storage systems, and related equipment for faults.
• Maintain recording confidentiality and prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
• Train, guide, and evaluate operators and prepare control-room shift schedules.
• Audit CCTV operations and recommend improvements to surveillance coverage and procedures.

Requirements

• A diploma or bachelor's degree in Security Management, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years of CCTV or security control-room experience is required, preferably with supervisory experience.
• Good knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, video management systems, and monitoring equipment.
• Strong observation, incident-reporting, communication, and team-management skills are required.
• Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
• Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
