Job Summary
Supervise CCTV operations, monitor surveillance systems, manage CCTV operators, and respond promptly to security incidents.
Ensure CCTV equipment, recording systems, and monitoring procedures operate effectively under company security policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise CCTV operators and control-room personnel and ensure continuous surveillance of designated areas.
- Monitor cameras and surveillance systems for suspicious, unsafe, or unauthorized activities.
- Review footage for incidents, investigations, and authorized management requests.
- Prepare monitoring reports, incident reports, shift handover records, and operational logs.
- Coordinate with security personnel, management, emergency services, maintenance, IT, and service providers.
- Check cameras, monitors, recording systems, storage systems, and related equipment for faults.
- Maintain recording confidentiality and prevent unauthorized access or disclosure.
- Train, guide, and evaluate operators and prepare control-room shift schedules.
- Audit CCTV operations and recommend improvements to surveillance coverage and procedures.
Requirements
- A diploma or bachelor's degree in Security Management, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum 3–5 years of CCTV or security control-room experience is required, preferably with supervisory experience.
- Good knowledge of CCTV systems, DVR/NVR, IP cameras, video management systems, and monitoring equipment.
- Strong observation, incident-reporting, communication, and team-management skills are required.
- Ability to work under pressure and respond effectively to emergencies.
- Good computer skills and familiarity with MS Office.
- Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
