Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed CCTV and security system layouts, drawings, and schematics based on project requirements, site surveys, and engineering inputs
- Develop CAD drawings and update as built documentation
- Coordinate with project engineers and site teams
- Ensure designs comply with local regulations and company standards
- Review technical specifications and integrate CCTV designs with other ELV systems
- Support tender submissions with accurate drawings and material take offs
- Assist in resolving design related issues during installation and provide timely revisions
Requirements
- Strong technical drafting skills including proficiency in AutoCAD or similar CAD software
- Experience creating CCTV and ELV system layouts
- Knowledge of CCTV system components, IP and analog camera configurations, cabling routes, network topology, and integration with NVRs
- Skills in reading and interpreting architectural and engineering drawings
- Accuracy and attention to detail, including ability to perform basic calculations for cable lengths, coverage areas, and equipment quantities
- Effective communication and collaboration skills
- Diploma or degree in engineering, drafting, or related technical field
- Prior experience as a CCTV or ELV draftsman; experience in Qatar or GCC projects is an advantage
- Familiarity with relevant standards and local authority requirements (SSD, MOI) and understanding of ISO based quality procedures
