Whale Cloud is hiring a Technical Support Engineer for CCTV & video cloud platform in Riyadh. The role involves on-site inspection, fault troubleshooting, system commissioning, and client technical service.

Responsibilities
- Communicate and confirm functional requirements with customers, sort out demand details, clarify acceptance standards
- Complete deployment, commissioning and go live for new projects including IP planning, recording configuration, access permission setup, cloud device registration, storage tuning and platform parameter optimization
- Troubleshoot faults of CCTV cameras, NVR, video management platforms, video cloud platforms and security network via remote access or on site visits
- Resolve intermediate issues escalated from L1 support and complete work order closure
- Provide technical training and after sales consultation for client staff covering live view, playback, account management and basic self inspection
- Fill in maintenance tickets, inspection reports and fault logs; sort out equipment inventory, network topology and standard operation procedures
- Coordinate internally with R&D and procurement teams to report product bugs and hardware defects
- Conduct regular on site equipment inspections, online rate checks and storage space cleanup
- Provide emergency standby service for major events and holidays
- Implement equipment replacement, system upgrades and patch deployment
Requirements
- College diploma or above in IT/telecommunication/weak current fields
- 1+ years experience in security video, IT system or cloud platform technical support
- Full proficiency in end to end CCTV system troubleshooting: cameras, NVR, storage, POE security network, local video platform and video cloud
- Skilled in basic Linux operation, log analysis and network configuration (VLAN, port setup, routing)
- Capable of independent on site implementation, system commissioning, client acceptance and training
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with senior client representatives
- Able to withstand pressure from frequent business trips and night emergency support
- Fluent proficiency in both Arabic and English
- Certifications such as HCIA, Security System Engineer or Low Voltage Electrician Certificate are preferred

Skills

- Full proficiency in end to end CCTV system troubleshooting: cameras, NVR, storage, POE security network, local video platform and video cloud.
- Skilled in basic Linux operation, log analysis and network configuration (VLAN, port setup, routing).
- Capable of solving mass device offline, abnormal bitrate, cloud playback failure and other medium level faults independently.
- Capable of independent on site implementation, system commissioning, client acceptance and training.
- Able to deliver formal technical documents, inspection reports and technical schemes.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills to liaise with senior client representatives and drive issue resolution.
- Able to withstand pressure from frequent business trips and night emergency support.
- Certifications such as HCIA, Security System Engineer or Low Voltage Electrician Certificate are preferred.
- Candidates with experience in large industrial parks, government projects preferred.
- Fluent proficiency in both Arabic and English.
