Caterlink is seeking an experienced Operations Manager to manage catering operations across a group of primary schools.

This is a 52-week, Monday-to-Friday role focused on operational leadership, commercial performance, team development, and client relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Manage catering operations across a group of primary schools.
  • Lead, motivate, develop, and retain operational teams.
  • Build strong client relationships across the school portfolio.
  • Manage business performance against company forecasts and annual targets.
  • Analyse and drive profitable sales while improving standards.
  • Monitor KPIs covering health and safety, retention, quality, and finance.
  • Support site teams directly when operational needs require it.

Requirements

  • Previous catering and operational management experience is essential.
  • Experience managing operations across primary schools is required for the role scope.
  • Candidates need confidence, credibility, leadership ability, and commercial astuteness.
  • Successful applicants must complete an enhanced DBS disclosure.

Schedule

  • The role operates Monday to Friday across 52 weeks of the year.

Compensation

  • Salary is dependent on experience.
  • The package includes a performance-related bonus and a monthly car allowance or company car.
