Caterlink is hiring a Catering Assistant at Highworth Grammar School in Ashford.
The role involves food production and food service in a school catering environment.
Pay
- The advertised rate is £12.71 per hour.
Working pattern
- The role is part-time at 20 hours per week.
- Hours are Monday to Friday from 10:00am to 2:00pm.
- The position is term-time only and operates for 38 weeks per year, with no weekends.
Key responsibilities
- Assist with preparing food and snacks.
- Comply with Caterlink health and safety and food safety standards and procedures.
- Keep the kitchen, counter, and restaurant areas clean and tidy.
- Provide friendly, efficient, and hygienic service to customers.
- Represent Caterlink and maintain a positive brand image.
Safeguarding requirements
- An enhanced DBS disclosure will be obtained for the role.
- Employees are expected to support the safeguarding and welfare of children and vulnerable adults.
