A large consumer goods brand seeks a Pricing & Category Analyst to join their marketing team. You will deliver data-driven insights, build forecast models, analyze sales and product data, and support pricing and category strategies.

Responsibilities
- Build forecast models, analyze sales and product data, monitor campaign performance
- Conduct trend and basket analysis, develop range plans, propose pricing strategies
- Manage competitor pricing insights, assess market trends, deliver pricing recommendations
- Analyze and forecast campaign and annual sales, prepare monthly financial reporting, maintain dashboards
- Partner with internal teams (Marketing, Supply Chain, Operations) and automate reporting processes
Requirements
- 3+ years in analytics, pricing, or FMCG category management
- Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, SAP Business Objects
- Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or related discipline
- Strong numerical and analytical skills
- Retail or franchise experience is a plus

Role Overview
- This large scale consumer goods brand are looking for their next Pricing & Category Analyst to join their high performing Marketing team.
- This new role is key to supporting informed decision making across product categories and campaigns by delivering accurate data, actionable insights, and strategic recommendations.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Category & Campaign Analytics: Build forecast models, analyse sales and product data, monitor campaign performance, and provide insights.
- Category Strategy & Range Optimisation: Conduct trend and basket analysis, develop range plans, propose pricing strategies, and track performance.
- Pricing & Commercial Analysis: Manage competitor pricing insights, assess market and economic trends, and deliver recommendations.
- Financial Tracking & Reporting: Analyse and forecast campaign and annual sales, prepare monthly financial reporting, and maintain dashboards.
- Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement: Partner with internal teams, maintain documentation, automate reporting processes.
You Will Bring
- Experience: 3+ years in analytics, pricing, or FMCG category management; retail or franchise experience is a plus.
- Technical Skills: Advanced Excel, SQL, Power BI, SAP Business Objects, forecasting, and data visualisation skills.
- Qualifications: Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a related discipline.
- Personal Attributes: Strong numerical and analytical skills, high attention to detail, problem solving mindset, initiative.
