About the Role

Responsibilities
- Develop and prepare ongoing category management and product mix plans.
- Negotiate with external/internal suppliers and manage funding and costing agreements.
- Analyze performance of product mix plans and manage introduction/discontinuation of products.
- Ensure regular and promotional pricing strategies are delivered with competitive advantage.
- Recommend and develop effective merchandising strategies for promotions.
- Manage approved budget to achieve financial targets.
- Communicate environmental, legislative and product integrity standards to suppliers.
Requirements
- Post secondary education in Business Administration or relevant discipline is an asset.
- Minimum of 5 years of retail sales experience including development, procurement, pricing, and merchandising of products.
- Knowledge and application of consumer/marketing and buying principles, financial information.
- Proficiency with MS Office suite.
- Experience with project management is an asset.
