Responsibilities
- Develop and execute category growth plans for greeting cards, gift accessories and related gifting products
- Identify new product opportunities, trends and seasonal ranges
- Analyse sales performance and recommend actions to improve revenue and margin
- Build category roadmaps and seasonal launch calendars
- Manage and monitor product range sales across retail stores
- Brief designers on new product concepts and collections
- Develop exclusive ranges tailored for UAE and GCC consumers
- Manage product specifications, pricing and positioning
- Ensure displays are attractive in all retail stores to maximise sales
- Build relationships with existing and new suppliers, negotiate pricing, MOQs, payment terms and lead times
- Monitor supplier performance and product quality
- Coordinate sampling and product approvals
Requirements
- 3+ years experience in category management, buying, merchandising or product management
- Strong commercial and analytical skills
- Experience sourcing products and negotiating with suppliers
- Excellent Excel and data analysis skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong communication and organisational skills

The Role
- The Category Manager will be responsible for developing and managing our Greeting Card & Gift ranges that delight customers while delivering strong sales and profitability.
