Role overview
Manage the non-fresh category for Amazon Now, Amazon's quick-commerce service.
Collaborate across Amazon functions to deliver selection, pricing, promotions, and category activities.
Drive growth, basket penetration, and margin objectives.
Key responsibilities
- Support the Category Leader in strategic initiatives and business opportunities.
- Optimize selection mix across grocery and non-grocery portfolios.
- Identify automation opportunities and improve selection, profitability, pricing, and availability.
- Own post-launch P&L performance and profitability improvement projects.
- Define assortment and refine the mix to improve space utilization.
- Source deals during Tier 1 and Tier 2 events for Prime customers.
- Improve category content quality and conversion with retail teams.
- Negotiate vendor marketing funds and coordinate category visibility.
- Include category requirements in annual retail joint business plans.
- Partner with Advertising to improve brand advertising investment.
Basic qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Experience with financial analysis and P&L ownership.
