The Category Management Assistant or Specialist supports end-to-end management of assigned retail categories.
The role converts customer, market, sales, pricing, assortment, supplier, and inventory data into decisions that improve sales, profitability, availability, customer satisfaction, and competitiveness.

Category planning and performance
- Support category strategies, annual plans, periodic plans, objectives, and performance tracking.
- Monitor revenue, units, gross margin, sales growth, SKU productivity, inventory turns, sell-through, availability, stockouts, and promotional performance.
- Prepare category reviews highlighting opportunities and risks from sales, customer, supplier, competitor, pricing, assortment, and inventory data.
Assortment and market analysis
- Support range development, SKU rationalization, assortment-gap analysis, and store and channel assortments.
