Overview
- An opportunity has arisen to join our team at Colchester Hospital within Ophthalmology as a Clinical Fellow in Cataract Surgery.
- This is a full time clinical and surgical fellowship post for one year, with possible extension as a Glaucoma and Anterior Segment Fellow.
Responsibilities
- The Fellow will be an integral part of Surgical Ophthalmology Service (SOS).
- Exposed to and trained in advanced diagnostic, medical, and surgical techniques for anterior segment disorders.
- Expected to actively undertake research and publish during fellowship.
- Involved in education and supervision of junior doctors.
- Participate in emergency department rosters.

- Advanced skills to work as a consultant providing high quality service at end of training.
